Mother-ease Air-Rika/Air-Flow/Ricci Reviews

NEW!
love the Mother-ease one size diapers, but I find their AIRFLOW cover to be real poofy. I like trim fits so the clothes still fits! So I use the Airflow at night and it has been perfect! If you don't mind poofy fits, they work great during the day too! I also like their Ricci wrap (Velcro®) which works great over prefolds or fitted. -- itsy bitsy mommy (Feb 9/00)

ME Air Flow Snap - I love these covers. After 6 mos of DAILY use they are going strong. I have twins and have to wash my dipes and covers (air dry only) every night and these have held up just fine. They work great - don't leak and are very adjustable. -- Dahna (Jan 11/99)

As for the covers, these are breathable and GORGEOUS and - as I have said, do not leak There are two styles: the Air Rika, which has light elastic and poppers (with two poppers at each side at the waist and three poppers at each leg opening, so very adjustable). The Rikki has a Velcro® closing and no adjustment at the legs, but there are darts in the crotch part, to create more of a "skirt". Also, there is a flap at the front, to stop your folded insert slipping forwards. The design of the Rikki is very like the Diaperap cover, except for the flap and the fact that it is breathable. I recommend the Air Rika for everyday use with the Mother-Ease nappy, and the Rikki for when you go out with a disposable pad. . -- Morag (Sept 3/99)

I don't much care for my ME Rikki wrap. It doesn't fit my chunky little ds as well as I'd like. -- Larissa (Sept 1/99)

I bought ME Sandy's and love them. They are wonderful and so soft. My son wears it to bed with an Air-rika cover and the outside of the dipe isn't even wet in the morning. Great absorbency. -- Toni

My next favorite are the ME Air-Flows. A good night time or when baby may not be changed for a bit and you don't want wet clothes. The multiple snaps are nice for my DS's growing and shrinking legs! -- Elena Beltran

I usually use a Sandy with an Air-Flow with no problem, but with the Bumpy, there was a strong ammonia smell in the morning. -- Tammy Collins-Prasol

Finding covers is a bit of a challenge. The Air-Rikka's work, but leave marks on her legs and are poofy. -- Barbara Milton

Air-Flow snap on covers work incredibly well with either pinned diapers or snap diapers or Velcro® diapers. They are excellent with breath-ability and keeping the sheets dry at night! My only complaint is that the back is not fully cut enough, so baby tends to have red marks on the front of her thighs in the morning. This may just be my baby's chubby legs though. -- Cathleen Oldenburg

I use the Rikky wraps too. They are terribly durable - a good buy in my book. The Aplix (Velcro®) is one of the most industrial I've seen, and my covers have outlasted the first child, and no doubt the second will use them as well. Rikky's have a flap in the front so that you can tuck the diaper inside, and the waist-band of pants never touches the diaper, no matter how squirmy your little one is. This is an ingenious feature which none of the others I've tried has. -- Cathleen Oldenburg

The Motherease Air-Rika is by far the best cover on the market for Motherease diapers! -- Chauna Plank

As for covers I love the Air-Flow cover by Mother-ease because it makes for a great fit over their diapers. -- Julie Ann Howard

Well, I love the Proservice prefolds and the Ricci Wrap. -- Terri Neumann

My second favorite is the Mother-ease Ricci Wrap (although if I'm not careful, it will scratch my baby's tummy). -- Linda Peirce

I really like the Kushies Classics. At night I cover them with an Air Rika or an Alexis. -- Kellie Varner
