Babykins Diaper Reviews
ADD A NEW REVIEW:
The Babykins AIO (Velcro® closure) has a decent fit. I've used it only four times and all four times it has leaked after ds wearing it only one hour. I know a lot of moms like this diaper. Maybe it is just not a good fit on my thin son. I have the Babykins two-size diaper (Velcro®). It has an excellent fit around the top. This is a trim diaper. Ds can wear it for about 1 1/2 hours with a good wrap before he needs changing. With a lesser quality wrap this diaper could use a doubler. -- Suzanne (December 4/02)Babykins Two-size diapers: Nice trim fit and I just love the rib knit around the edges, very comfortable around baby's legs and waist. The cross over tabs on the Velcro® allows for lots of adjustment. I pair these up with the stay dry terry/mesh doublers for a very absorbant diaper that isn't bulky on my heavy wetter. -- Lisa W. (December 20/00)
Babykins one-size diapers: I just got a "baker's dozen" of the discontinued BABYKINS fitted diapers that have the tabs that attach in back. These diapers seem perfect for my lean baby boy who doesn't wet very much. They fit much like a bikini - very trim. They take awhile to dry in the dryer and did shrink up a bit but drying them did improve their absorbency. I wouldn't recommend them for very chubby babies or babies that are heavy wetters. But for me they are great! -- morning glory (Mar 28/00)
Babykins one-size diapers: I absolutely hated the Babykins with the button holes, those are really ugly and just weird. -- Kathleen (Feb 17/00)
Babykins one-size diapers: I have used Babykins almost exclusively for my daughter, and I love them! Yes, they are less absorbent than most, but even with a doubler added, they are hands down the least bulky diaper I've tried. Now that she's older, the rear-fastening Velcro® tabs are a lifesaver, she can't undo them. -- Rachel (Feb 4/00)
Babykins one-size diapers: I HATE the three Babykins diapers I got in a sample pack. Compared to the 6 or 7 other types of cloth diapers I have, these are the worst. They took almost double the time to dry in the dryer than my diapers with fold-out panels. Not only that, the edges are curling so that they will start to place friction on baby's skin. They also look very old after only a couple of washings. The fit is not great either. I find the width between the legs to be far too large. There are not many cloth diapers that I would not recommend, but I certainly advise to stay clear of these ones! -- J. Miller (Oct 27/99)
Babykins one-size diapers: I have the Babykins diaper with the tabs that fit through a slit and Velcro® in the back. I love the way they fit, but don't find them very absorbent. I always use a folded prefold or a doubler inside, plus a cover. -- Vicki
