Ecology Kids Cover Reviews
ADD A NEW REVIEW:
I got one of these diaper covers and found them to be made of good materials. Not one leak because of the plastic gussets around the leg. The reason they are not the best is because the Velcro® is horrible. The Velcro® portion is so small that it comes undone with one little kick of the baby's leg. Diaper fits good all around except for that Velcro®. -- J. Worswick (Jan 6/01)
My son is 9 months old and we've tried many different covers that we mainly found at thrift stores. This is what I have found so far. Ecology Kids are my least favorite. They leaked easily and if I tightened the top enough to stay on my son's waist, the leg holes were too big. The Gerber cover, in my opinion, had sturdy Velcro® but leaks easily and is bulky. Dappi covers work only for a short time. I wash them very carefully but the fasteners wear out within a few washes and scratch my baby's legs. The cloth on the outside doesn't protect his clothing at all. We have one Prowrap with the Velcro® and it was the only one I was satisfied with, but now he likes to take his diaper off himself so we are looking for alternatives. -- Shannon Harker (Jul 15/99)
I had leaks with Ecology Kids wraps. The cloth leg and waist bindings wicked moisture outward. -- Candace
Ecology Kids Covers. Not as good as Dappi's that I have. These covers were given to me. I am using these on my newborn with Chinese prefolds. They tends to leak. The Velcro® seem to not work very well and leaves red little marks on his tummy. -- Michelle Oh
Ecology Kids is a waste of money! I purchased an AIO with a cover that was supposed to indicate wetness, but believe me, once you wash it, the diaper permanantly says "changing time". By the third wash, it fell apart. The times it was worn, it leaked. -- Jennifer Berger
Ecology Kids Covers: These are readily available in stores and are not expensive. However, the fit is not very good, and the Velcro® tends to wear out. -- Mary Russell
