Zippidy Reviews

This flannelette/terry diaper is no longer being made.

I really love the quality and value of the Zippidy coverups! A better value can't be found! -- Lisa Durand (Nov 1/99)

Zippidy's -- A very soft and absorbent fitted diaper. The quality is a bit questionable -- a little too cheaply made. The middle pad is sewn down and immediately starts getting twisted up, etc. Also, the Velcro® is a bit cheap. -- Sinead's Mama (Aug 25/99)

The Zippidys are a nice trim fitted diaper and until they were washed several times WERE my favorite, however, I am extremely disappointed to say that the inner soaker curls up terribly inside the diaper making for an uncomfortable feeling at both ends of the diaper for the baby:( I would not recommend purchasing these at this time until they resolve this problem that they are aware they are having. -- Nancy

I absolutely hated Zippidy's. Not absorbant, fell apart in the wash, not worth even the low price. I like my Kushie's Classics much better! -- Jen

I really like the nice trim fit of Zippidy's. They were very nice and soft when I first got them, but the flannel has worn quite a bit, and I think they've shrunk. The Velcro® could also be a bit stronger, especially where it folds back for laundering. The Velcro® doesn't stay put in the washer, and they all stick together. They also take a very long time to dry, but they are pretty absorbent. If they improve the Velcro®, I would consider buying more. -- Ingrid Green

What works best for me is Zippidys fitted diapers with pull-on coverpants. Zippidys are super absorbent (but they take a LONG time to dry) and pull-on pants work best to stop any leaks. The Zippidys pants have the least irritating elastic I have seen. -- Tina Olson

Zippidys fitted diaper: my favorite, good for small babies, soft, well-contoured, no leaks. -- Deborah Grace

Love Cotton Kids, Zippidy's are pretty good, Darla's fitted diapers are wonderful. -- Penny Ewing

I really like the Zippidy's. I have tried Kushies, Sandys, and Bumpkins. The Zippidy's are by far the best fitting. They are more absorbant than Kushies and less bulky than the Sandy's. I use the Alexis snap-on covers and we get no leaks! -- April Flake

Zippity's and Cotton Kids from Choosey Diapers... I really like both of these diapers alot. They are both very absorbant and soft flannel. The Zippity seems to have shrunk slightly but it is a very trim fitting Velcro® diaper that works well for outings. I have not had a leak with either of these diapers. -- Laura Yeatts

Diapers I Love: ME Sandy, Cottonkids, Bumpkins AIO, Buoy AIO, Zippity. -- Robin Smith

I'm new to cloth diapering, but I love Zippidys and so far the only covers I've used are Proraps. -- Monique Dean

I love my Zippidy diapers! They are all cotton, very soft and very absorbant. But, they aren't bulky like my Sandys, so I can fit them in my wool covers. They fit my daughter very well, better than any other diaper I've tried. I like them better than my Mother-ease dipes! -- Tracy Johnson
