Create a Free Online Banner

To make your free banner online, go to http://www.abcbanners.com/mlinks/links.pl

  1. Pick a banner background - there are 95 banners to choose from! To make your banner, click on the banner background of your choice. For the banner above, I chose the third one down, on the 13th page.

  2. Pick your font (style of lettering). For the banner above, I chose the first font in the left-hand column. Choose your font - then scroll down and hit NEXT.

  3. Write out the first part of your text - I wrote Make-Your-Own and chose 24 for the font size.

  4. Choose solid or textured lettering. I chose textured. Click NEXT.

  5. Choose your texture from the previews shown. I chose the first one in the second row from the left. Click NEXT.

  6. Click the spot on the banner where you want the top left corner of your text to begin. If it doesn't look placed right, you will get a chance to move it later.

  7. If it looks great - go on to step 8. If not, click on MOVE.

  8. Now it's time to add your second line, so click on ADD MORE TEXT TO THIS BANNER. Choose your font again. This time I chose the third down in the right hand column.

  9. I wrote ThemeStream Library and chose 24 as the font size again, and solid this time. Click NEXT.

  10. Choose your text color. I chose NAVY (#1C0B5A)

  11. Select the text position - place it beneath the first line and try to centre it.

  12. If it looks great - your banner is done. If not, click on MOVE.

  13. Now, click on the link that says: YOUR IMAGE IS LOCATED AT: http://www.abcbanners.com/created/banner-xxx.jpg (xxx = your banner number). When your banner pops up, right-click your mouse button (click with the button on the right-hand side of your mouse). A menu will pop up, choose SAVE PICTURE AS.

  14. When the window pops up, save your banner to the same directory that you write your articles in, so you can find it easily. Give it a name you will remember, click SAVE.

  15. You are done!
