I love these diapers!!! I use the 4x8x4 and they work wonderful. They are also known as DSQ (Diaper Service Quality) I use Prowraps and just started using some WAHM wraps just because they are so cute. I have not had any problems while using DSQ's. I can't say enough about these diapers. They are easy to use. I don't have to worry when we go out that they will leak. Not very bulky. Although they are a bit more bulky if you are use to using disposables. If you are going to switch from disposables to cloth these diapers are the way to go! Wish I would have found these first, would have save a lot of $$$. -- Mommy of Four (July 19/01)

NEW!
I love them. They are so soft and fluffy. I have had no problems with leaking. They are much nicer than the Gerber DSQ prefolds I used before. -- Heather (February 23/01)

...I love the Chinese prefold diapers I bought--they seem to get fluffier and softer each time I wash them. -- S.P. Anderson (Apr 4/00)

We have been using the Woolly Bottoms wool soakers (with the Mother-ease one-size diapers) for about a month, especially at night, with our newborn and we have been very happy with the results. We have also been using the Nikky wool covers with Chinese prefold diapers, and they have worked well when wet. However, the poop tends to spill into the cover (thankfully the cover does hold it so the clothes don't usually get dirty). We suspect we might be doing something wrong because the spill usually goes to the same side. By the way, the Nikky cotton cover is the cutest, and works well. However, we will probably stay with the Mother-ease diapers and the Woolly Bottoms covers. -- Militza & Mario Valverde (Mar 13/00)

I absolutely ADORE the Chinese cotton prefolds I bought from Earthbaby!! Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about them. My first cloth diapers were just those awful non-Diaper-Service-Quality diapers. Then I tried some from a homeschooling catalog that were SO much better. I guess they were Gerber DSQ because some of them were stamped Gerber. They had the color-coded stitching, and were thicker and more absorbent than the regular diapers. By baby #3 some of them were starting to get pretty worn out, so I decided to replace a few with Chinese cotton prefolds to see what all the excitement was about. Dh talked me into getting 12 rather than 6. I'm really glad he did!! They are even better than the Gerbers!!! I love them so much that I ended up getting another dozen to replace the Gerbers that WEREN'T worn out!! Do try them!! -- Candace M (Feb 21/00)

I really like the Chinese 4x8x4 prefolds with either the Imse Vimse day cover or the Mother-ease Ricci wrap (Velcro®). They are REALLY absorbent. I don't even use pins, I just fold them in 3 and place them inside the wrap covers. Tadam! -- itsy bitsy mommy (Feb 9/00)

After doing lots of on-line research, I decided to try Chinese prefolds with Polar Babies recycled covers. I have been very happy with them. Though it all seemed rather big when Lena was a true newborn, it was dealable. In 3 months, we've only had leakage onto her clothes twice. I figure that's not too bad.... I don't have much to compare these products to, but I also have no reason to try anything else. I'm sticking with it. Highly recommended. -- Rona (Jan 31/00)

I use the Proraps covers and the Gerber and Chinese prefolds. I like the Gerbers better because they seem more absorbent to me, but both are fine. I was able to buy the Gerber diapers retail for $11 for 6. -- Amy Weinheimer (Dec 11/99)

Chinese Prefolds 4x8x4 - these diapers are so wonderful! They are very absorbent and are so soft! Unlike flannel, they don't get all pilly and are supposed to last and last. I use these for night-time and fold one in thirds inside another diaper and then lay an hourglass stay-dry fleece liner from Bareware on top. And it works so well! -- Amy (Nov 11/99)

I love Polar Babies!! And, of course Chinese Prefolds -- Tiffany Baker (Oct 1/99)

I've been using Chinese Cotton 4x8x4 prefolds purchased from Wee Bees and Earthbaby with an Alexis cover and I love them, so far. -- (Sept 30/99)

I love Chinese cotton prefolds for diapers, I think they are the most absorbent. -- Jill (Sept 16/99)

As a first time cloth diaper user, I am loving so far (6 weeks) my choice of Alexis snap covers. I am using them with Chinese prefolds, and have had no problems with leaks. At least for this stage, they're great! -- Tracy (PA) (Sept 14/99)

B. Coole Designs in California sell a cotton prefold made in Europe, identical to Chinese service diapers. Murphy Diaper System in Massachusetts sells prefolds from China. Both are excellent, just like diaper service diapers, and very reasonable. -- Wendy

Chinese prefolds for newborns. I use these with Dappi covers. They soak up quite a bit and come out of the wash looking beautiful. I have not used all-in-one, so I can't compare them to the all in ones. However, the Chinese prefolds are very economical, and when the baby outgrows the newborn size, they can work as great burp cloth. -- Michelle Oh

The Chinese prefolds from Earthwise Basics are wonderful. I can't say enough about them. I've tried several fitted diapers to see what I've been missing and the answer to that is nothing. The prefolds are soft, thick and absorbent and work great with or without pins. They dry quickly and aren't as fragile and high maintenance as many fitted dipes. I highly recommend trying prefolds before you invest a fortune in fitted diapers or AIO's. -- Josephine G.Larson
