Entering the strange new world of cloth diapering, you may think we are speaking a whole other language! What in the world is a B4 or a AI2? What about a BG or a BRSB? Cloth diaperers tend to use their own short forms when discussed their diapers and using them... so I have compiled a list of some of the common cloth diapering words and abbreviations to help you figure out what they are talking about! Not all are specific to cloth diapering, but are used frequently in online conversations. You will be a diaper lingo pro in no time!
AFFF - ArtsyFartsyFooDoo - a brand of cloth diapers
AFAIK - as far as I know
AI2 - all in two diaper - a diaper with a snap-in or stuffed in insert
AIO/AI1 - all in one diaper - both the diaper and waterproof cover combined - just like a disposable diaper
AP - Attachment Parenting - a style of caring for your infant that brings out the best in the baby and the best in the parents.
Aplix - hook and loop closure on diapers and covers, similar to Velcro®
B4 - BubuBebe- a brand of cloth diapers
BB - Bulletin Board or Blueberry - a brand of cloth diapers from Swaddlebees
BF/BFed - Breastfeed or Breastfed - the biological normal way to feed an infant

BG - bumGenius is a major manufacturer of diaper and covers and more
BM - could be breast milk, or bowel movement, depends on the context of the sentence.
BSRB - Bagshot Row Bamboo - a brand of cloth diapers
BTDT - been there, done that
BTW - by the way
Bumkins - Bumkins is a major manufacturer of diaper and covers and more
Bummis - Bummis is a major manufacturer of diapers and covers and more

CB - Cuddlebuns - brand of cloth diapers

CD - cloth diapering
CPF - Chinese Prefolds - a type of prefold diapers
CV - cotton velour fabric
DC - Delivery Confirmation - to verify date and time of delivery
DD - could mean dear daughter or disposable diaper, depends on context of sentence.
DF - could mean dear friend or dear fiance/fiancee, depends on context of sentence.
DH - dear husband
DP - could mean dear parent or dear partner, depends on context of sentence.
Dry Pail - A dry diaper pail is one method where used/dirty cloth diapers are stored with no rinsing or standing water.
DS - could mean Diaperswappers.com or Darling Son, depends on context of sentence.
